Knowing God
I have questions. I used to be frustrated by them. Frustrated, or angry, or maybe even afraid. After many years of wrestling with these feelings, I finally decided to take the step - to intentionally seek answers. To intentionally seek God and find Him - or not. Was He real? I wanted to know. If He was real, could He be trusted? I found some answers. And, to be honest with you, sometimes it has been a tough path to trek. God is real. And He was pursuing me while I was seeking Him. Finding God, knowing God has answered some of my questions about purpose and priorities, while changing my perspective on life. I sincerely hope you find what you are looking for. It you are looking for God, I stand firm in my belief in His promise that you will find Him. ~ Ryan
Hearing the Quiet Voice
I thought I had it figured out! But all the things that I thought I could fix turned out to be not-so-fixed. So, I looked for direction. I stood in the middle of a street of rushing crowds. I stood on an isolated sandy shore. I felt empty in both places. So I searched until I found a friend who helped me hear the quiet voice of God. Let me be that friend for you. Enroll in the Bible studies, close the door on the noise, and let's listen together.
Why We Help
Good question - "why do we help?" No fancy reason - we just remember. We remember what it was like to be in your shoes. We remember what it feels like to have questions, and not know who to ask. We remember wanting answers that were solid and trustworthy. We found them. You can, too.
